Don't lose a sale just because a shopper searched in the wrong store

Running more than one online store? When someone searches for something the current store does not carry, ThunderBar instantly shows which of your other stores has it and how many products it has. One click and they see the results there, instead of leaving.

01

When a search finds nothing

Instead of "0 results", the shopper sees "Also available in our stores", with a card for each store that has the product and how many products were found there. It appears in the search window and on the results page after Enter, inside each store's own template.

Example: A shopper searches for a brand the store does not carry. They see "Also available in our stores" with your second store and the number of products, click the card and land on the results there.
02

Only when it really exists

A store is suggested only when it has products with every word of the search or the exact same product code. Shoppers are never sent elsewhere for something merely "similar".

  • Also shown when the store displayed related products but not what was asked for
  • Up to 3 stores, the one with the most products first
  • Works with product codes and barcodes too
03

You choose which stores

In the dashboard → Features you choose, for each store, which of the other stores in your account it sends shoppers to. A store can be linked even if ThunderBar search is not yet active on its site, as long as its catalog is in ThunderBar.

04

Measure what it brings

In the panel → Overview you see how often the card was shown, how many shoppers went to the other store, what they searched for, and which orders and sales were placed there, for each pair of stores. Orders are marked “from” the store where the search took place. Your physical stores are counted separately. Every visit also carries UTM tags (utm_source=thunderbar, utm_medium=linked_store) for Google Analytics.

05

Without slowing search down

The other stores are checked in parallel with a time limit, and the result is kept for a few minutes. If a store is slow to answer, it simply does not appear that time.

For stores in the same ThunderBar account.
