What they search for, what they find and what search brings in
ThunderBar analytics are written so that anyone who opens them understands them, not only the developer: big numbers with an explanation, comparison with the previous period and what you can do now.

01
Overview in plain words
One sentence on how the period went, four big numbers (searches, how many found what they wanted, orders, revenue) with an explanation and comparison, bars per day with orders below, and "what you can do now" with buttons for a synonym or a rule.
02
Orders and revenue from search
Orders with a product the shopper opened from search, with the amount and the search term. Card payments confirmed by the bank count too. Cancelled orders are shown separately, in grey, and are not counted as revenue.

By payment method
By search term

03
Any period you like
Today, yesterday, 7, 30 or 90 days, 12 months, this or last month, or your own dates. Every number shows the change from the previous period of the same length.
04
What they cannot find and do not click
Searches with no results, with a synonym button and email alerts. And popular searches that find products but get no clicks, which usually need a rule.
05
Live and office screen
Searches, clicks and orders as they happen, refreshed every few seconds. It also opens full screen for a TV in the office, with a celebration on screen for every new order.
06
Audience, devices, hours
New and returning visitors, buyers and their interests, mobile or desktop, countries, peak hours and rising searches.
07
Product page recommendations, separately
Clicks, orders and revenue from "Similar products" under each product have their own card and are not mixed into search numbers. A separate box shows total ThunderBar sales, search and recommendations together, with an order counted once even when it has products from both.
08
Email reports
Every Monday morning, your week in search with 3 AI suggestions. Each team member turns it on for themselves.
09
How we count
A search is what the visitor looked for when they stopped typing, pressed Enter or picked a result. Corrections while typing count once, as does the same search by the same visitor within 30 minutes. So the numbers do not inflate.
Example: "runn" → "running" → "running shoes" counts as one search: "running shoes".
10
Team and multiple stores
Add colleagues as admins or view-only, and see all your stores from one account.
11
Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel
The search window does not change the page, so Google Analytics does not see the searches. We send the standard events (search, select_item, add_to_cart and Search / AddToCart for Meta) to the GA4 and Pixel already on your site, so search shows up in your own analytics too and you can build ad audiences. On by default, switched off with one toggle.
12
Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Excel
A private link with the figures of every day (searches, clicks, orders and revenue from search and recommendations). In Google Sheets with =IMPORTDATA it updates by itself, and from there in Looker Studio, next to the rest of your data.
