A Doofinder alternative for OpenCart and WooCommerce

Greek and Greeklish
ThunderBar understands Greek, Greeklish and text typed with the wrong keyboard layout. Doofinder does not state Greek or Greeklish on its public pages.
Linked stores
What one of your stores lacks, the shopper finds in another, with orders measured separately. At Doofinder each store is separate; linking stores is not mentioned.
A chat assistant included
HachiChat Starter comes with every plan. Doofinder's AI assistant is on the Pro plan and up, priced separately.
AI assistants search your catalogue
On the Enterprise plan, AI assistants can search your catalogue through MCP. Doofinder's MCP is for managing the account.

Moving from Doofinder to ThunderBar
Install ThunderBar
OpenCart: Extensions → Installer. WooCommerce: upload the plugin. Any other store: one line of code.
Your catalogue syncs
From the module's feed or the product feed you already have. No manual indexing.
Tune the results
Add synonyms and banners, and on the Pro plan rules to pin, hide or boost products.
Switch off the old search
Check the results (on OpenCart first in preview, visible only to you), then remove the Doofinder script.
Questions
I use Doofinder on OpenCart. Will ThunderBar work?
Yes. ThunderBar has its own module for OpenCart 3 and Journal 3, with results also inside your theme's search and category pages.
Is ThunderBar priced per request?
No. Plans are limited by products and pageviews, not by searches or requests.
Can I try it before switching?
Yes. There is a free trial, and on OpenCart the search can first run in preview, visible only to you, before your shoppers see it.
